The National Championship is the first and only event when 3,000 of the best USA High School Clay Target League participants nationwide are invited to attend and compete at the same venue! Student athletes and teams from all over the nation will gather for the event.

Regents week is off to a great start at WGHS. We still have many days of regents, see the schedule in the pictures. Students only need to report for tests they are taking.
Watkins Glen & Odessa Montour Wrestling Coaches will be hosting at 4 day Wrestling camp here at the Watkins Glen Field House, starting Thursday July 25th through Sunday July 28th.

As Award Season marches on, we would like to recognize the Schuyler Scholars from WGHS. The Schuyler Scholars Celebration honors the top 10% of each graduating class from each of the three Schuyler County school districts. This group has acheived a great deal throughout their high school years, and we are sure that they will continue to make us #WGProud

More than 120 high school teams featuring over 1,500 student athletes are expected for the New York Trap Shooting State Tournament!
Single-day competition for each team!
A team requires a minimum of five student athletes to participate in the team competition. All student athletes are eligible for the individual competition.
Each team is assigned a tournament day as determined by their Class designation and will compete against other competitors within their assigned Class. Teams and individuals will compete in their respective classifications (Novice, Junior Varsity, and Varsity) based on the athlete’s Spring season-ending average. An athlete’s 100-target score is used for both individual and team competitions.

Did you know that there are 51,866 registered USA clay target athletes for the 2023-2024 School Year? And that there are 10,316 Coaches for these athletes across the USA!
