Parents/Guardians:
In my November 6th letter I shared that, due to staff quarantines and the health conditions in our region, I would be moving all students to remote learning for the entire week. I shared that the short-term remote learning shift would end on Friday, November 13th (yesterday). Our staff members have been released from quarantine and all indications are that we have the staff necessary to provide on-site instruction in our hybrid model. I have also consulted with the Schuyler County Public Health Office. As of this writing (Saturday morning), we are prepared to move back to our hybrid model - Blue Cohort students in the school building Monday and Tuesday, and Maroon Cohort students in the school building Thursday and Friday.
If anything changes over the weekend I will let you know. Unfortunately, conditions can change rapidly and we should all be prepared to adjust if necessary. I will do my best to provide as much advance warning as possible, and I will do my best to limit the back-and-forth learning structure decisions, as I am sure this creates hardships at home.
Please continue to stay in communication with school as we navigate through these challenges.
Sincerely
Mr. Greg Kelahan
