Parents/Guardians: We received word that one of our high school students has tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, due to our hybrid structure and the proactive preventative decisions made by the family, the student has not been in school since Friday, October 23rd.
Contact tracing has been completed - we have identified 19 other students and 6 teachers who may require quarantine due to extended contact. These students and teachers (identified through contact tracing) were sent home this afternoon and will not be back to school until they are released by county public health offices. We will continue with school as usual.
We wish the student a speedy recovery, and hope that no other students or teachers have been infected. As always, I will keep you posted - Greg Kelahan
